A training series for local female councillors has been concluded on 18 August in the city of Madaba. During the series of workshops, a total of 178 members of municipalities from all over Jordan have participated in trainings on legislation, municipality law and interpersonal skills aiming at supporting and enhancing their performance in the Municipality Councils. The trainings have been implemented by Nour Al-Hussein Foundation and supported by FES Amman.

moreThe registration process for regional elections has begun on Tuesday, July 15th. In cooperation with UNAMI and UNOPS, FES and the Iraqi Democratic Future Network trained 10.000 independent election observers in all governorates of Iraq. These observers will monitor the voter registration process. Their reports and current updates will be published in this Online Operations Room.
